Good to know, before you book.
Can my child try a course out first?
Yes. The trial lesson is a risk-free start: one session to get to know the course, the group and the instructor. It costs €14 (60 minutes) or €17 (90 minutes).
Who can take part?
The afternoon programme is for children and teens aged 6 to 16, the holiday programme for children aged 6 to 12. Both are open to all Berlin families – you don't need to attend Klax International School.
How do I book and pay?
You buy a ticket for the course online – trial lesson, 10-pack or monthly pass – then choose your preferred course slot in your customer account. Payment is by SEPA direct debit.
How long am I committed for?
The monthly pass has a one-month minimum term and can be cancelled at the end of any month. You manage and cancel it yourself in your customer account.
Does the material cost extra?
No, materials are included in the price. For a few digital and media courses it helps if your child brings their own laptop, if possible – this is noted on the relevant course page.
How big are the groups – and will my course run?
Every course has a maximum of 12 spots. A course runs from just one sign-up.
Who teaches the courses?
All instructors provide an extended background check and proof of measles immunity, as required in Germany. The instructor for each course is named on its course page.
What happens during school holidays?
Afternoon courses pause during school holidays. Instead, there's the holiday programme: half-days, Monday to Friday, lunch included, for children aged 6 to 12. Go to the holiday programme →
Are birthday parties available?
Birthday parties are not currently offered.
